Splinter Park

  Splinter Park is located on the 500 block of East Calhoun Street on the southeast side of town.
   It has:

  •   2 lighted softball fields
  •   2 lighted sand volleyball courts
  •   2 lighted tennis courts
  •   basketball court
  •   a pavilion *
  •   playground equipment for young children
  •   restrooms & drinking fountains
  •     * To rent the pavilion contact City Hall (see below)

 

Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park is located in the 100 block of South Washington Street one block East of Main Street. It has:

  •    A Memorial to all Veterans from the Cuba City Area
  •    Playground equipment for small children
  •    Restrooms and drinking fountains
  •    Park Benches
  •    2 Pavilions *
  •        1. The City Shelter: Located on West side of park, includes attached restrooms, electrical outlets and lights. Six picnic tables and one grill are located at the shelter.
  •        2. The Lions Shelter: Located on East side of park, includes electrical outlets and lights. Eighteen picnic tables and three grills are located at the shelter.

* To rent a pavilion contact City Hall at 608-744-2152

  •      $50 rent fee ($25 is refundable if properly cleaned) to be paid at time of reservation

  •      ONLY the shelter itself is rented, not other facilities.

  •      Acceptable cleanup includes placing all refuse in the containers located at the shelter and cleaning the picnic tables.

  •      Signage is the responsibility of the renter, if desired.

 


Lion's Park

  Lion's park is located on Troy Street on the south side of town.
  It has:

  •    play ground equipment for small children.
  •    pavilion *
  •    restrooms
  •     * To rent the pavilion contact City Hall (see above)

    Legion Park

      Legion Park is located on the north side of the 400 block of
      East Calhoun St. It has:

    •    pavilion *
    •     K. of C. Shelter: Includes electrical outlets and lighting.
          Eight picnic tables and one fire pit grill are located at the shelter.

      Presidential Courtyard

      Cuba City is home to an extensive visitor center dedicated to the railroad that used to pass through town. Included in the center is a completely restored caboose, a gazebo, and some additional railcars.

      The Visitor Center is located on Main Street and is open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. till 2 p. m. June through October.
